Mama Rising
It’s not just in your head, beautiful. You are going through something REAL.
When we become mothers we enter into a transition from woman to mother.
It involves the complete transformation and identity shift of a woman throughout her child raising years – psychological, social, emotional, physical, economic and spiritual.
It’s called matrescence.
In modern society, this transition is not valued or spoken about, so we enter into it unaware and unprepared.
Are you tired of feeling like you’re failing and wondering how you are going to be able to do it all?
Are you struggling with how different your career and relationship feel?
Do you wish you could talk to someone about what you’re going through but are held back by guilt and shame?
Do you feel torn between loving and hating motherhood all at the same time?
Do you feel like you’ve lost yourself in motherhood?
Let me whisper the truths of matrescence to you, so you can finally understand why motherhood can represent the hardest and most beautiful years of your life.
So you can see that there’s nothing wrong with you and this is something we ALL experience in our own ways, even though we’re not talking about it.
Imagine how differently you would feel about yourself…
Mama Rising will help you:
– Understand the transformation you are experiencing so you can release the self criticism, guilt and blame and feel more at ease.
– Treat yourself with kindness and compassion through challenging times.
– See your true strength as a woman and mother.
– Embrace the real value of a woman and mother in the world.
– Trust your journey and yourself.
– Rediscover and live as who you truly are.
If you’re longing to feel seen, heard, confident, valued, aligned and worthy, this beautiful experience is for you.
Why is this important?
Because mothers everywhere are struggling and blaming themselves. They are hurting and angry because parts of them are not being honoured. They love their children deeply but are finding that motherhood is not what they expected, nor are they the mothers they expected to be.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Come and join me for real conversations about all the complexities of motherhood. The real feelings, the real challenges, the real expectations that pull us in every direction at once.
Sit in community with other women who are also ready to see and value themselves differently and reconnect to who they really are.
This is your safe space. Your chance to let down the walls, be loved and validated and see that you are not alone.
The details:
8 weeks consisting of:
– 6 gentle and relaxed online sessions where we sit together, learn about the transformation we are going through, share and witness each other’s realities and make sense of our experiences. These sessions are all recorded so if you miss one, or want to watch it again, you will have access to the recording throughout the program.
– 2 group coaching sessions. There is no new content in these weeks, so you can also use this time to catch up, reflect or have a break.
– Private Facebook group where connection, conversations and exploration can continue between sessions.

This isn’t your usual online course
This is your opportunity to explore and make sense of your own experiences and listen to the experiences of other women who are also going through their own matrescence.
You won’t need to put on your “I’m OK” mask or the “I love everything about motherhood” mask.
Real feelings are welcome – the raw, the deep, even the ones you haven’t been able to say out loud yet.
We will sit with you, listen to you and accept you.
There is a place for you among women, where the real you will be honoured.
In case we haven’t met yet…
I’m Louise East, a certified Mindset and Life Coach and Matrescence Facilitator with 20 years of experience in adult learning and education.
I love to work with overwhelmed mums who are exhausted from trying to do it all and are ready to find more peace, joy and confidence.
My story starts with a whole lot of perfectionism and trying to live up to everyone else’s standards. The breakdown of my first marriage was a baptism of fire into acceptance, letting go of control, rewriting my standards and living in alignment to my own needs and desires. As mum of a gorgeous little boy and step mum to 3 wonderful young adults, I continue to practice these things, through my own journey of matrescence, feeling more content, calm and confident that ever before.
I so deeply believe in the value of this transformation, that I dedicate my work to supporting other mums through their matrescence, rewriting the beliefs that create perfectionistic thinking and behaviours, uncovering their own truth, strength and grace, and rediscovering themselves so they can live with more intention, freedom, ease, confidence and self-love.
I’d love to support you…
In their words…
If only every woman could somehow be automatically enrolled in this course when she becomes a mother. What a different world we would live in. Learn to be that mum who is strong, brave, confident in herself and who loves herself. It is possible and this course will set you on that path!
The Mama Rising course was truly a beautiful experience that nourished my soul and gave me permission to embrace my feminine strengths.
The Mama Rising program came at just the right moment for me. I was feeling overwhelmed with trying to “do it all” in my work and family responsibilities.
Louise’s content and delivery was so gentle in the way topics were introduced and how she held the space for each of us to reflect and share on each topic. I felt very heard and supported by Louise and the group members. It was a safe space to let everything out.
Louise showed us how society’s view of motherhood and the human experience of motherhood are actually very different, and it’s okay to prioritise ourselves and let go of expectations placed on us by ourselves and others. It was a very freeing feeling. I would recommend mama rising to anyone struggling with their transition to motherhood- new mums and more experienced mums alike.
